Development History
On September 22, 2023, CSDN and Huawei Cloud CodeArts jointly launched the next generation AI-driven open source developer platform GitCode. Aimed at providing millions of Chinese developers with a seamless and efficient cloud environment to support learning, using, and contributing to open source projects, the goal is to jointly build the next-generation flagship platform for open source developers in China.
On October 28, 2025, in order to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and open source software infrastructure and build a one-stop service platform, GitCode has joined hands with the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation and other ecosystem partners to promote the deep integration and upgrade of GitCode and AtomGit, building a new generation of "open source + artificial intelligence" one-stop AtomGit infrastructure platform.
