About Us

AtomGit platform (hereinafter referred to as "AtomGit" or "platform") is operated by Shenzhen Open Source Co-creation Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "us"). It is a new generation of AI-driven open source developer platform, relying on the CSDN developer community, through integrating code hosting services, code repositories and trusted open source component libraries, allowing developers to host and develop code in the cloud. The platform provides rich functional support and a complete ecosystem, helping developers easily manage and share code, and providing strong support for open source projects. To promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and open source software infrastructure and build a one-stop service platform, we will comprehensively integrate GitCode and AtomGit, building a unified developer service ecosystem.

Development History​

On September 22, 2023, CSDN and Huawei Cloud CodeArts jointly launched the new generation of AI-driven open source developer platform GitCode. Aimed at providing millions of Chinese developers with a seamless and efficient cloud environment to support learning, using, and contributing to open source projects, the goal is to jointly build the next-generation flagship platform for open source developers in China.

On October 28, 2025, in order to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and open source software infrastructure and build a one-stop service platform, AtomGit, together with the Open Atom Open Source Foundation and other ecological partners, promoted the deep integration and upgrade of GitCode and AtomGit, and built a new generation of "open source + artificial intelligence" one-stop AtomGit infrastructure platform.

On April 18, 2026, AtomGit officially open-sourced the new generation of terminal AI programming agent AtomCode. The product is developed based on pure Rust language, uses the MIT open source license, and is committed to creating a domestic AI programming tool that is more suitable for the Chinese developer ecosystem, providing developers with an efficient, secure, and open intelligent coding experience. On May 16, AtomGit further launched the desktop-side AI programming tool AtomCode Air, continuously improving the AI Coding product matrix.

On April 28, 2026, AtomGit open-sourced the AI smart hardware Xiao Hong AI. The product is based on the Hisilicon WS63 chip, uses RISC-V architecture, runs the open source HarmonyOS 6.1 Release operating system, and centers around the dual open source ecosystems of "Open Harmony + RISC-V". It integrates NearLink wireless technology, and combines AI intelligent dialogue, online companionship, and smart home control capabilities, exploring innovative practices in the integration of open source AI and smart terminals.
